Job Description

KO_OP is hiring a character artist to work alongside our art team on an upcoming game that features a heavy amount of unique character art.

The position requires 35-40 hours' work a week. The rate for this position is 25$ CAD per hour.

We are looking for a candidate with experience in clean line art and strong attention to detail. This is a contract full time position for 18 - 20 months. We will be conducting paid art tests with our favourite candidates. Preference given to local Montreal candidates, but remote applicants will be accepted. Candidates will be expected to work remotely but may be asked to meet and work from the office from time to time.

Job Description

KO_OP is hiring a storyboard artist to work with our art director on an upcoming game that features a heavy amount of animated cinematics.

The position requires 20-25 hours' work a week. The rate for this position is 25$ CAD per hour.

We are looking for a candidate with experience in storyboarding and animation who has a strong eye for composition and an understanding of film concepts. This is a contract position for 10 months. This position is local only and will require the candidate to work out of our office for key planning.

Job Description

KO_OP is hiring a 2D background artist to work with our lead background artist to paint a variety of locations.

The position requires 30-40 hours' work a week. The rate for this position is 25$ CAD per hour.

We are looking for a candidate with experience in backgrounds and environments who has a strong eye for light and colour and can paint in a graphic/painterly style. This is a contract full time position for 20 months (ending in August 2021). We will be conducting paid art tests with our favourite candidates. Preference given to local Montreal candidates, but remote applicants will be accepted. Candidates will be expected to work remotely but may be asked to meet and work from the office from time to time.
