Job Description
KO_OP is hiring a 2D background artist to work with our in-house art director to design several locations for an unannounced project.
The position requires 30-40 hours' work a week. The rate for this position is negotiable.
The ideal candidate has experience with digital painting, backgrounds, environments, and strong fundamentals in lighting and colour. The background style will be painterly (without line art). This is a contract full time position for 6 months, with the option to renew. We will be conducting paid art tests with our favourite candidates. Preference given to local Montreal candidates, but remote applicants will be accepted.

Job Description
KO-OP MODE INC. (KO_OP) is hiring a full-time Narrative Designer to join us in our Montreal office.
This is a local position, so remote work is NOT a possibility.
The position requires 30-40 hours' work a week. The rate for this position at KO_OP is 23.95 CAD an hour.
KO_OP's Narrative Designer will work across two to three projects at a time, with duties ranging from leading the narrative on some projects, to consulting on story for others. We're looking for someone who is up for the challenge, who is able to switch gears between different styles and requirements across all our projects.
Our ideal Narrative Designer will bring to the team a sense of their own personality in their writing, who is able to shape stories of their own.
